The grey rain in Amsterdam feels like a soft hug from the city itself, but it can't stop me from finding bright flowers by these red brick walls. I adjusted my silver cross necklace and tilted my head, wondering if the cats hiding in the back alleys are laughing at my silly travel journal photo today. Even when the sky is heavy, there is always a splash of color waiting if you just look closely.
