The grey Madrid skies made the condensation on my cold drink sparkle, but the round metal frames on my glasses brought me back to your bright, kind eyes. I'm wearing my favourite hoodie today because the cool air feels just right for walking through quiet streets and chasing the few stray cats that wander this city. Maybe we can meet again when the sun finally pushes through these clouds.
