いたって = 至る (itaru, to reach the limit) + te: reaching the very extreme of a degree
From 至る (itaru, to arrive at the limit). Used before adjectives, as in 至って元気 (itatte genki), meaning extremely healthy. Often seen in set phrases like 至って普通 (itatte futsuu), perfectly ordinary.
