vos
/ˈbos/ · A2 · pron
you, familiar form of the second-person singular pronoun
vos = Latin vos (you), kin to French vous; sounds like English boss
From Latin vos, the plural you, which Spanish later turned into a singular. Today it is the everyday familiar you in Argentina, Uruguay and much of Central America, used where other regions say tú. The v is pronounced b, so it sounds like boss.
