trago
/ˈtɾaɡo/ · A2 · noun · m
gulp
🥃 trago: from tragar, to swallow. A trago is one swallow, then a drink
Tragar means to swallow, so a trago is literally one swallow: a gulp or sip. From there it came to mean a drink, usually alcoholic. A hard thing to swallow is also a trago: un mal trago is a rough patch.
