pecador

/pekaˈdoɾ/ · B2 · adj

sinner

From Latin peccare, to sin: same root as impeccable and peccadillo

Latin peccator meant sinner, and the Spanish -dor ending marks the doer, like trabajador for worker. If you are impeccable, you are without sin. A peccadillo comes from the Spanish pecadillo, a little sin.
