flujo
/ˈfluxo/ · B2 · noun · m
flow
🌊 flujo = flux, from Latin fluxus, flowing, as in fluid and fluent
Latin fluere meant to flow, which gives English fluid, fluent and flux. In Spanish the Latin x became the j sound, so fluxus turned into flujo, just like Latin laxare gave dejar. A flujo is anything that keeps flowing: a river, traffic, money or data.
