enano
/eˈnano/ · B1 · adj
dwarf
🤏 e-NANO: nano is Greek for dwarf, as in nanometre and nanotech
Enano comes from Latin nanus, from Greek nanos, meaning dwarf. That same root gives English the prefix nano-, used for tiny things like nanoseconds and nanobots. Spanish just added an e- at the front.
