💌 招待 = beckon (招) + treat a guest (待): call someone over to host them
초대 is the hanja 招待: 招 means to beckon or summon, 待 means to receive or treat a guest. Add 하다 (to do) and you get the verb: to do a beckon-and-host, i.e. to invite. Same word as Chinese 招待 and Japanese 招待 (shōtai).
