🚇 地下鐵 = ground + below + iron: the iron road under the ground
Three hanja: 지 (地, ground) + 하 (下, below) + 철 (鐵, iron). 지하 alone means underground, and 철 is short for 철도, railway. Same build as Chinese 地铁 and Japanese 地下鉄.
