🎓 卒業 = finish (卒) + studies/work (業): finishing your studies
졸 (卒) means to end or finish; 업 (業) means work or studies, the same 업 as in 수업 (class) and 직업 (job). Same hanja as Japanese sotsugyō. Spelled jol-eop, but the ㄹ slides over, so it is said jo-reop.
