📖 ik-da: you read until the meaning clicks — ik, like the click of understanding
The stem 읽 is said ik (the ㄹ goes silent before ㄷ), plus the dictionary ending 다. Tie ik to the click when a line of text finally makes sense. Note 읽어요 is said il-geo-yo, where the ㄹ comes back.
