👋 인사 = 人事 person + matter; 하다 = to do: do the person-thing, greet
인사 comes from hanja 人事, person (인) + affair (사): the proper business between people, which starts with a greeting. Add 하다 (to do) and it becomes a verb. Sound hook: in-sa, you say hello to let someone IN.
