💡 이해 = 理解: 理 reason + 解 untie, so to untie the reasoning
From hanja 理解 (same word as Chinese lǐjiě, Japanese rikai). 理 is logic or reason, 解 is to untie or solve. Add 하다 (to do) and you get: do the untying of the logic, i.e. to understand.
