sounds like ah, moo: any old cow will do, and with a negative, no cow at all
아무 means any, with a shrug: 아무나 = anyone at all, 아무거나 = anything at all. Pair it with a negative and it flips to none: 아무도 없다 = no one is there, 아무것도 = nothing.
