🏠 生活 = 生 life/be born + 活 lively/active: living your life actively
Hanja 生 (saeng, life, as in 학생 student, 생일 birthday) plus 活 (hwal, active, as in 활동 activity). Same word as Chinese shēnghuó and Japanese seikatsu. Life + activity = the day-to-day business of living.
