🥪 saen-deu-wi-chi = English sandwich, respelled in Korean syllables
A loanword from English. Korean syllables cannot end in d or ch, so the filler vowels eu and i are added: sand → saen-deu, wich → wi-chi. Say sandwich slowly with those extra vowels and you have the Korean word.
