🍀 sa = 四: same root as Mandarin sì and Japanese shi, all meaning four
사 is the Sino-Korean reading of the hanja 四, borrowed from Chinese. It is a cousin of Mandarin sì and Japanese shi. Like them it sounds the same as the reading of 死 (death), which is why some Korean buildings label the fourth floor F instead of 4.
