🍚🥢 비빔밥 = bibim (mixing) + bap (cooked rice)
비빔 comes from the verb 비비다, to mix or rub together; 밥 is cooked rice, and also the everyday word for a meal. The name is the instruction: stir everything into the rice before eating. 밥 reappears in 김밥 (gimbap) and 볶음밥 (fried rice).
