🤢 맛 (taste) + 없다 (to not exist) = there is no taste
맛 means taste and 없다 means to lack or not exist, so the word literally says taste is absent. Its opposite is 맛있다, built with 있다 (to exist). Note the sound: it is said ma-deop-da, not ma-seop-da.
