⛰️ 내려가다 = 내리다 (descend) + 가다 (go): descend-go, to go down
Built from 내려, the connective form of 내리다 (to descend, come down), plus 가다 (to go). The opposite pair works the same way: 올라가다 = rise + go, to go up. Swap 가다 for 오다 (come) and you get 내려오다, to come down.
