🎭🎬 극장 = 劇 drama + 場 place: the drama place
극 (劇) means drama or play, as in 연극 (a stage play). 장 (場) means place or venue, as in 시장 (market) and 운동장 (sports field). A place for drama is a theater, and Koreans use the same word for a cinema.
