🍂 구월 = 구 (nine, 九) + 월 (month, 月): the ninth month
Korean months are just Sino-Korean number + 월 (month). 구 is nine, so 구월 is month nine, September. Same pattern: 일월 (1), 팔월 (8). Only 유월 (June) and 시월 (October) drop a consonant.
