geok-jeong: a clock going tick-tock (geok-jeong) while you fret all night
The two clipped syllables geok-jeong beat like a clock ticking while you lie awake fretting. Used as 걱정하다 (to worry) and 걱정 마 (don't worry). Unlike many abstract nouns, 걱정 is a native Korean word, not Sino-Korean.
