🏆 勝 = win; 3勝 is three wins. Sounds like show: each win goes on the scoreboard
勝 on its own means to win (勝つ, katsu). Used as a suffix it counts victories, so a record reads 5勝2敗: five wins, two losses (敗 = defeat). The reading shou sounds like show, and a win is what you show on the scoreboard.
