🔗 関 (link, as in 関係 relation) + する (do) = to be linked to, to concern
関 first meant a gate's crossbar, the bolt joining two doors, and so came to mean connection. Add する and it means to be connected to something. You'll often see it as に関する, meaning concerning or about.
