🏷️ 々 is a repeat mark: 銘 (name tag) doubled, so one tag for each person = each
Each guest at a formal banquet had their own name card, so 銘々 came to mean each one. The 々 mark simply repeats the character 銘. Use it for each person's own item or for individually.
