込む
こむ · komu · JLPT N4 · verb-godan
to be crowded
🚃 komu sounds like commute: the commuter train is always crowded
Komu is the first two syllables of commute, and rush-hour commuting means packed trains. The kanji 込 is 入 (enter) plus the movement radical 辶: everyone entering and moving in at once makes a place crowded.
