🧦🥞 裏 ura (back side) + 返す kaesu (turn back) = turn to the back side
裏 is the reverse or hidden side of something, as in 裏口 (back door). 返す means to return or turn over. Together they mean to bring the back side out: a sock turned inside out, or a pancake flipped over.
