🧵 tsuzuku: the TSUnami of episodes goes on — 続 = thread 糸 + sell 売
続 joins 糸 (thread) with 売 (sell): a thread that keeps being sold never runs out, so it continues. つづく repeats the same sound twice (tsu-dzu), the syllable itself carrying on, and it is the word shown at the end of a TV episode: to be continued.
