🌳🌍 環境 = ring + border: everything that surrounds you up to its edges
環 (kan) means ring or to surround, as in 循環 circulation. 境 (kyou) means border or boundary, as in 国境 national border. Together, the ring of things around you out to their limits gives your environment or circumstances.
