拭く

ふく · fuku · JLPT N3 · verb-godan

to wipe

🧽🧻 拭く = 扌 hand + 式 method; sounds like 服 fuku, clothes you wipe hands on

The left side 扌 is the hand radical, so the kanji is about doing something with your hand. Fuku is also the sound of 服 (clothes), and a sleeve is the oldest towel there is. 吹く (to blow) is read fuku too, so tell them apart by the radical: hand for wiping, mouth for blowing.
