幾~

いく~ · iku~ · JLPT N2 · noun

several ~

幾 iku = how many: the same root as いくつ (how many) and いくら (how much)

As a prefix, 幾 turns a counter into an uncertain amount: 幾日 (ikunichi) means several days and 幾人 (ikunin) means several people. The kanji is built from two 幺 tiny-thread parts, an old sign for small amounts that are hard to count.
