帰る
かえる · kaeru · JLPT N5 · verb-godan
to go home
🏠 kaeru also means frog (蛙): the frog always hops back home
帰る and 蛙 are both read かえる, a classic Japanese pun: frog charms are carried so that travellers and money come back safely. Same sound, so kaeru = frog = return home.
