🛏️ 宀 roof + 尞 ryō: the roof your 僚 colleagues sleep under
尞 gives the sound ryō, also heard in 僚 (colleague) and 療 (medical treatment). Add the roof radical 宀 and you get 寮, shared lodging for workers or students, as in 学生寮 gakuseiryō, student dormitory.
