🏪🛒 売り場 = selling (売り uri) + place (場 ba): the sales floor
売り comes from 売る (uru, to sell) and 場 (ba) means place or spot. Together: the selling-place, used for a shop counter or department, as in 靴売り場 (shoe department). The same 場 appears in 場所 (basho, place).
