🤝 協 = together + 調 = tune: everyone tuned to the same key
協 has three 力 (strength) beside 十 (ten), so many hands pull as one. 調 means tune or adjust, as in 調子 (condition, tone). Pulling together and adjusting to each other gives you co-operation and harmony.
