動揺 = move 動 + sway 揺: your composure gets shaken loose
動 (dō) means move and 揺 (yō) means shake or sway, the same 揺 as in 揺れる (yureru, to tremble). Moving plus shaking gives agitation: emotional upset, or unrest in a market or society.
