勇ましい

いさましい · isamashii · JLPT N2 · i-adj

brave

🦁 isamashii ≈ is a master; 勇 has 力 (strength) at its base

The kanji 勇 means courage, the same as in 勇気 (yūki, courage), and it has 力 (strength) at the bottom. Add the adjective ending ましい and you get brave or valiant. The sound-alike: someone who is a master of the fight is isamashii.
