🪑 teeburu = English table, reshaped to fit Japanese sounds
A loanword from English table. Japanese has no lone consonants, so b and l each gain a vowel: ta-ble becomes te-e-bu-ru. The long ー stretches the first vowel, echoing the English long a. Written in katakana because it is borrowed.
