🐢 soro-soro: slow, slow... so it is about time to go
The doubled soro mimics slow, quiet movement, like そろり (sorori, softly). Creeping along slowly gives gradually; time creeping up on you gives soon, as in そろそろ行きましょう, it is about time we left.
