あらゆる

あらゆる · arayuru · JLPT N3 · na-adj

all

あら + ゆる = old 'to exist' + 'can': every thing that could possibly exist

Comes from classical あり (to be, exist) in its あら form plus the old auxiliary ゆ (ゆる before a noun). So あらゆる人 means every person there could be. It only goes before a noun: あらゆる方法, every possible method.
