one's impressions
👀 观 observe + 感 feeling = the feelings you take away from observing
观 means to watch or view; 感 means to sense or feel. Together they name the feeling left after you observe something — your take, your impression. Note the two share the watching-then-reacting logic: see first, react second.
感 — heart 心 + 咸 (xián, phonetic)
A semantic-phonetic compound. The heart radical 心 at the bottom carries the meaning of feeling or emotion, while 咸 supplies the sound. Together 感 conveys being moved in the heart, hence 'to feel,' 'sense,' or 'be affected by' something.
