有的

det : some

有 = have/exist + 的 = possessive particle; together 'some (of them)'

有的 literally stacks 有 (to have/exist) with 的 (the noun-marking particle), giving a 'there-are-ones-that...' sense. Use it to mean 'some' when contrasting parts of a group: 有的人喜欢茶 — some people like tea.

有 — hand 𠂇 + moon/meat 月
Originally depicted a hand holding a piece of meat (月 here is the 'meat' radical, not moon), expressing the idea of possessing something. Over time the meaning broadened from 'to hold/possess' to the general sense of 'to have' or 'there is/exists'.

的 — white 白 + ladle 勺
Originally a phono-semantic compound: 白 ('white') gave the meaning of bright or clear, and 勺 supplied the sound. It once meant 'bright' or 'target' (still seen in 目的, 'aim'). In modern Chinese it was borrowed as a grammatical particle marking possession or modification.
