🔬 微观 = 微 tiny/minute + 观 view = the tiny-scale view, micro-level
微 means minute or tiny (as in 微小), and 观 means to view or observe (as in 观察). Together they name the micro view: the sub-atomic, microscopic scale, opposite of 宏观 (the macro view).
