委屈

wěiqū · HSK 7

feel wronged

委 bend/yield + 屈 bend/submit = bent double under unfair treatment

Both halves carry the sense of bending or submitting: 委 (yield) plus 屈 (bow, submit). Stacked together they describe someone forced to bend and swallow a wrong, hence feeling wronged or put-upon. The sound wěiqū also echoes the English way too, as in pushed way too far.
