全力以赴

to make an all-out effort
💪🏃 全 full + 力 strength + 以 to + 赴 rush = rush in with full strength
全 — enter 入 on top + jade 玉
Originally written as 入 (enter) over 玉 (jade), depicting a complete, unflawed piece of jade kept in storage. From this image of a perfect jade came the meanings 'whole,' 'complete,' and 'entire.' The top component is sometimes written as 人.
力 — pictograph of a plow or arm muscle
力 originated as a pictograph of an ancient plow, the main tool requiring physical exertion in early agriculture. Some scholars also see it as a flexed arm showing muscle. From this concrete image it broadened to mean 'strength, power, force, effort'.
以 — phonetic 㠯 (plow/tool) + 人 (person)
Originally a pictograph of a hand-held plow or tool (㠯), later combined with 人 (person) to suggest 'using' something. The core meaning 'to use' extended metaphorically to 'by means of', 'with', and 'because of'. In modern Chinese it functions mainly as a grammatical particle.
赴 — 走 'walk/run' + phonetic 卜
A semantic-phonetic compound: 走 (run, hurry) gives the meaning of going somewhere quickly, while 卜 supplies the sound. Originally meant to rush toward or hasten to a place, and still carries that sense of going to attend something, as in 赴会 'attend a meeting'.
